About The Owner

Ross McKerlich is a leading expert in Distance Education and eLearning methodologies. He holds a Masters degree in Distance Education and has to his credit a number of academic research achievements including publishing one of the first peer reviewed journal articles connecting Second Life and learning (Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks, 2007). Ross is currently focusing his research efforts on analyzing & evaluating education technology and is working as a research fellow alongside his mentor Dr. Terry Anderson at the Canadian Institute of Distance Education Research (CIDER). Ross has also conducted research and evaluated LMS’s for Brandon Hall Research and serves as a judge for the eLearning Awards of Excellence.

Ross lives in Kelowna, BC, Canada and enjoys sailing, swimming and spending time with his family.
